Nutrifeed sulphate of potash considered a ‘premium-quality’ potash.
Contains two key nutrients for growing crops viz., potassium (K2O – 50%) and sulphur (S – 17.5).
Contains no chloride and hence has a much lower salt index in SOP (46) than MOP (116). Where soil is saline or sodic and where irrigation water may have high chloride levels, SOP is the preferred form of potassium to use.
Low pH of SOP contributes to a slight acidification of the zone surrounding root (rhizosphere), enhancing the availability of macronutrients and micronutrients in the soil solution.

It is preferred for fertilization of crops like tobacco, potato, grapes, apple, pomegranate, banana, mango, orange, tomato, chilli, onion, garlic, rubber, cotton etc., where quality is of prime importance.
